Ashton Kennedy - Director/Producer/Co-writer/Co-DP and everything in between.
Starting out acting for film at the age of 8, Ashton Kennedy was intrigued by the film industry. She pursued acting for 5 years, when the behind the scenes action began to catch her eye. Wanting to get into film production, Ashton applied and was accepted into the broadcast journalism (KCBY-TV) program at her high school advancing from Short Film Crew Director to co-Program Director her senior year. Outside of school, Ashton worked on Fresh Films Austin team March 2006, where they won 2nd place in the national competition. After that experience, she was greatly inspired to continue working in the actual film industry. From January 2007 to now, Ashton has offered her talents working on several local films (including "Bicycle Bobby", "Why Do I Look Like My Father?", "The Portrait of An American Family", and "The Traveler"), as well as student films at Loyola Marymount University, where she currently attends college. In addition, Ashton directed and co-produced her first feature film with her best friend at the end of her senior year in high school. She hopes to continue her filmmaking pursuits far into the future.Morgan Griffin - Partner-in-Crime (Co-writer/producer/1st AD)
Morgan Griffin is an honors student at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She plans to receive her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Education and then will puruse her Masters in Library Science to become a Librarian specializing in the catering of library services towards young adults. Morgan plans to continue to write and is currently working on her first novel.
Sarah Hillier - 2nd Assistant Director and Go-Getter
Sarah Hillier is a Sophomore at Coppell High School. She is currently apart of the high school's theater program but her passion is film, both behind the scenes and on camera. She hopes to continue in this field and also to have another opportunity to work with director/producer Ashton Kennedy.
